Since inception, we have raised over $3.5 million to fund groundbreaking research – with a majority of our efforts focused in areas that we have determined to have the highest potential to save lives: early detection of pancreatic cancer and curative treatments.

Innovations Research Grant
Our Innovations Research Grant provides $100,000 in total funding which will be used to fund research for early detection.
Proposals must be basic, transitional, clinical, or epidemiological in nature and must have direct applicability and relevance to the early detection of pancreatic cancer and be aligned with the goals and priorities of Project Purple.
Applications are invited from researchers currently in the field as well as from investigators with experience in other areas of cancer or biomedical research who have promising ideas or approaches that will directly apply to the early detection of pancreatic cancer. This is not limited to just the United States, but anyone in the world.

Rick Carone Research Grant
The Rick Carone Research Grant is a grant of $75,000 to fund pancreatic cancer research for early detection. The grant will be awarded to a research institution within 150 miles of Chicago.
