You can stay in the loop with other members of our Project Purple community who are also participating by joining and posting in this Facebook Group: www.facebook.com/groups/doublefordetection/
Distance: 2 Miles
Date: July 4-7th
Time: When you want
Location: From your home or anywhere you can
Reason: Early Detection Of Pancreatic Cancer!
This will be Project Purple’s first of a 3-part virtual series for 2025.
The 5-year survival rate for pancreatic cancer is only 13%, largely because it goes undetected for so long. We find that unacceptable so we are raising funds for research towards early detection methods and curative treatment.
All funds raised from this event will fund early detection research initiatives such as the Precede Consortium at NYU Langone and the early detection programs at Hartford Healthcare and the University of Nebraska Medical Center – as well as our recently announced Duke Research Grants!
We encourage you to set up a team and invite your friends and family to join you in making a difference. Participation can happen from anywhere. Share your fundraising pages and make an even larger impact.
